The Bharia is a forest-dwelling Scheduled Tribe of Madhya Pradesh. Their literacy rate is very low. They are spread around Chhindwara, Seoni and Narsingpur districts of Madhya Pradesh state. Mainly they are staying in pattalkot and Satpura range area of Tamia and Harrai blocks of Chhindwara district. Among these three districts approximately 50,000 people are living.
