Festivals and Fairs of the Bharia tribe

Bharia tribe people worship the deities like Baradeo, Buradeo, Mutva Baba and Nagbaba. Their important festivals are Holi, Diwali, Bujalia, Akhati, Shivaratri, and Rakhi. And they dance whole night in Mela with playing drums and some people worship their own deities. And they offer coconut.

If any one dies among Bharia people, they do sacred ceremonies on the eleventh day. This ceremony they called as Badi roti. In this ceremony they make one idol of dead person out of stone. And they worship that idol and make it as their house deity.
