The Bharia people are wage-earners, as most are landless. A part of their livelihood is derived from collecting and selling fire wood. Some work as laborers for contractors, while a few work as ricksh-pullers and earned boys. And they build houses with mud and for making top roof they use bamboo sticks and clay tails. And they go to forest for collecting mahu, achar, aamla, kopadorli, harra, etc., They sell those forest prodcuts for their livelihood.
